Dear all, As you can easily understand I would like to answer to the last message posted on the mailing list. I do not want to be antagonistic or to continue an argument on this very valuable list, I just want to put things straight. First of all what I meant to imply, when I used the verb "initiated" as applied to the call for proposals for the 2000 edition of the mddf, was that I initiated, already in the early 80's, through my work with digital technology in my choreographies as one of the first, a movement in dance and technology in France. I have since continued to develop this work as a member of an international community of people striving to make meaningful choreographic work with various digital technologies. It was this fact that led me to be asked to organise the section on dance and multimedia in the first edition of the mddf. I simply wanted to be recognized for my contribution to the first event, for which I drew on my knowledge of dance and technology and the people involved gained through twenty years of passionate work in the field.
