The following message was posted to: dance-tech Dear all, I am doing a research degree in architecture at the Royal College of Art in London. I am currently researching the field of dance technology, because my project explores the potential of designing space through gestures and movements. I find this archive interesting as it may assist me to find out relevant technologies. I am interested in technologies that are capable of translating aspects of human movement into architectural space and into particular qualities/properties of space. Specifically I am looking for technologies that can recognise aspects of human movement and interprete them as deformations or other modifications of a pre-designed digital environment/space. Please let me know of any relevant hardware/software, experts in the field, or other relevant literature.
