The following message was posted to: dance-tech dear group, greetings from monaco dance forum... it sure is nice to see so many of you here! if you've never been here, i can only recommend it. its certainly an... "odd" place. if you've been, you know what i am talking about. but the fact of the matter is, until IDAT comes back to life, this is the closest we have to a world gathering. its such a mixture of things. i wish it was more like a conference. i also wish it had more showings of actual work (as opposed to videos and computer monitors which are everywhere). and less full-blown shows. also, the "booth" thing (they gave us a booth this year) i find to be a bit.... like the amazing vegimatic, but ok, maybe thats just me. there is LOTS of interesting stuff here. our own showing is Thursday, 13:00 in the Main Entrance Hall (if not, then Bosio Room 1. we're not in the events listing! My reason for writing though is to say that there are still a few places left in our January Workshop. Both sessions -- 2nd-5th and 6th-9th -- have places free. please think again about coming: http://www.palindrome.de/tanzereiworkshop.htm two levels of daily technique hands-on interactive systems exploration choreography for interactive systems evening technology courses: beginner or advanced "interactive video" and "interactive audio" and more... This is shaping-up to be a really good workshop!
