"Interactive Performance" has become trendy, but is it artistically cogent?
Is it a ruse, a distraction, a bag of clever tricks, or is the computer
really poised to change the nature of art? Participants will be given the
first-hand experience necessary to approach these important questions. The
workshop is suitable for professional and student dancers, as well as those
with experience in video, audio and digital technologies.
This unique interdisciplinary setting provides excellent teaching and
guidance by award-winning artists and engineers from one of the most
experienced ensembles working in the field today, the Palindrome
Inter.media Performance Group.
