This presentation aims to create a symbiosis between the real and digital
worlds, a discourse between the body and place, architecture and movement.

Stephan Silver, digital artist, choreographer and architect, will be teaming
up once again with sonic artists Catherine Bassett and Martin Robinson
(Extractor) alongside five performers to create a walk-through sensory
environment that comes to life as members of the public "viewers" move
through a dynamic interplay of evolving spaces created through projected,
animated imagery and soundscape.

A goal of this work is to alter the "viewer's" perception, understanding of
space, time through perspective and increasing their awareness to their
surroundings by manipulating factors such as light, colour and sound.

By stripping elements down to their most basic structure and altering the
physical environment the "viewer" gains an added awareness of their known
reality (social, cultural and experiential).

Sensors are activated through movement and this activates and alters both
animated visuals and sound. In the spaces if the "viewer" does not move,
little happens. This encourages the "viewers" to take a participatory role,
and enables them to use the primordial tool that is inherent in all of us:
the body.

The performers provide a dialogue and add an extra layer of relational
responses between rehearsed figures and "viewers".
