The following message was posted to: dance-tech For those of you new to the dance-tech list there was a two part article about Barriedale's ChoreoGraph project posted to the list on 14/05/02 -- you can find it by going to the list archive -- http://art.net/~dtz/mailarchive.html // search by date. The issue of funding for software development in the dance/ live performance field is an interesting one. In Monaco 2000, several dance/ tech scripters and programmers got together to discuss strategies for this. Although now two years old, the Monaco discussion still serves as a useful introduction on a range of themes related to this issue: creative, technical, institutional, economic. The transcript has been sitting around for a while, but has finally been edited (for corrections); but should be on line sometime soon... so stay tuned. all the best Scott deLahunta At 14:19 21/08/02 -0400, you wrote: >Dear All, > >We would like to thank everyone on this list who has sent us their >'expression of support' for our ambitious software-project 'ChoreoGraph'. > >Unfortunately NESTA (a public funding body in the UK) decided to not support >the development of this 'software for choreographers'.
