------------------------------------------ TROIKA RANCH PERFORMS IN NYC JUNE 20/21/22 ------------------------------------------ Troika Ranch Digital Dance Theater (http://www.troikaranch.org) will be performing their interactive dance quartet "Reine Rien" as part of the "CalArts Dances Downtown" performance at St. Mark's Church in New York City next June 20, 21 and 22. All performances start at 8:30. Reine Rien, with choreography by Dawn Stoppiello and music/media by Mark Coniglio, is a meditative exploration of expansive spaces and distant horizons. Sensors on the dancers bodies allow their movement to interactively generate music and manipulate video imagery as they perform. The concert features a diverse line-up of distinguished California Institute of the Arts alumni who make the East Coast their home. Also on the bill are works by Karl Anderson, Jamie Bishton, Debra Bluth, Rikky George, Anthony Gongora, Sam Piperato, Lisa Townsend, Kate Weare, and honorary alum Donald Byrd.
