hi robbie we all know the whole issue of copyright / ownership in these digital times is thorny thorny thorny if you go down the road of what is currently 'law' in most western countries (this is slightly complicated by the web where jurisdiction has to be determined) the situation seems to be that multimedia copyright permission has to be negotiated for everything at the beginning of a project with all collaborators but there is a new exciting initiative by some of the best minds on this issues (lessig, boyle, etc.). This project is looking to generate new ways of doing things so that we can participate in opening up a future where creativity isn't stifled by copyright laws --- and these folks are really smart and have thought this thing through. http://www.creativecommons.org/ quote from first page "Cultivating a New Creative Commons: Creative Commons is a non-profit organization founded on the notion that some people would prefer to share their creative works (and the power to copy, modify, and distribute their works) instead of exercising all of the restrictions of copyright law." best scott At 15:58 29/05/02 -0400, you wrote: >Hello All: > >I'm wondering if any of you have information about the legalities of placing a >video clip of dance on the web.
