Hi Ruth,

my name is Annelie David. I'm an independent choreographer living and
working in Amsterdam. Last year I made a short animation with LifeForms
called Fibo's re-leaf, which was presented at an international meeting for
Theater and Intermediality at the University in Utrecht. The animation is a
choreography for 19 LifeForms "dancers" based on the numbers of Fibonacci
and the Nautilus pompilus. Fibonacci's discovery about how leaves are
arranged around a branch to get optimal light inspired me.
In the choreography I used the Fibonacci spiral as floorpattern and the
organization of the leaves around a branch to get optimal light as
movementpattern. Contentwise I played with the idea of mass and individual.”
I hope that this information is interesting for you,

kind regards,
Annelie David!
