BEDFORD INTERACTIVE Dance Teacher's Resources - Website Update. The Publications page is now easier to use after a major interface overhaul. The Resource Exchange is now up and running, with examples for download. The Information pages can now be reached from the main menu at the top of the Homepage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resource Exchange Bedford Interactive is convinced that the next stage in the use of multimedia resources in the teaching of Dance will involve two complementary aspects. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. An increase in the number of high quality generic resources available, and 2. Further development of such resources by the exchange of added-value materials by users. The experience of our recent publication - The Wild Child Resource Pack - has demonstrated that imaginative NEW add-ons are being developed by Dance Teacher users all the time. These extra resources include worksheets, lesson plans, and longer-term resource-based schemes, which we are sure would be both stimulating and invaluable to a wider audience. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To this end we are setting up a Resource Exchange with the following objectives 1. To accept submissions from users to make freely available on the Exchange 2. To allow free downloads of submissions to any interested user. 3. To build an open list of all interested parties (individuals or institutions) Initially, such a facility can be accommodated on the Bedford Interactive Website, though in the long term users may want to publish or acquire resources on a much wider range of source materials, and therefore become an independent site. Visit our website at www.dance-interactive.web.com to join the list or browse the facilities Note we have an exhaustive list of users of the Resource Packs and will be regularly keeping them informed of developments.
