I think Lifeforms only imports Biovision or Acclaim motion capture
formats. Both of these formats describe the motion of an articulated figure
by giving the sequence of joint angles of the bones over time.
I am not 100% sure what you mean by the VICON format, but my guess is that it
is some format (.C3D?) that will contain the raw 3D positions of the optical markers
used in the motion capture session.
If this is the case, you will need some other software to convert from this
format into Biovision or Acclaim. BodyBuilder from Vicon does this, probably in
a straightforward way. I guess FilmBox from Kaydara can also do it.
