CALLING ALL HYBRIDS The Moving Pictures Festival of Dance on Film and Video and body/machine ,a conference on the performance/technology interface,are looking for proposals for the third annual Anatomic Cabaret .This multidisciplinary live event will be held on Friday,October 26,9 pm at the Rivoli,334 Queen Street West in Toronto. Dance,visual,music,performance and media artists are invited to submit ideas for work lasting 3 to 10 minutes in length.The theme is the body machine. Please include an approximate list of your technical requirements (e.g.bodymike, super8 projector and screen,etc.). Feel free to propose mixing dance with film,music with spoken word,fire-eating with projections -just make sure your work involves a "body "and a "machine ". And be BOLD! Proposals (50 words and a CV)should be sent to the mailing address below. Artists will receive an honorarium.
