Addressing my response to the whole list, in case this q&a is relevant to others... << Are you intending to shoot against a bluescreen and then composite the video in, or to shoot it all in one fell swoop? ---aha. Therein lies the first rub. I am thinking to do it without bluescreen in order to better represent live performance. (hopefully without making it look dull and lifeless, as often happens when recording live dance performance documentary style). I will do a bluescreen shoot when my video collaborator and I make a dance video version of the piece that is strictly intended for viewing on a screen, as opposed to in live performance. ---Another issue we have is that we prefer that the video image spill out onto the floor and around the side walls of the stage area in order to give the impression that the dancer is dancing in the video landscape. I am assuming this won't be too difficult as long as the backdrop and the floor and the side walls are more or less the same color and texture. Am I m istaken? Any tips on this. Hope this helps! >> ---You bet it does. Thanks so much!
