<x-html><!x-stuff-for-pete base="" src="" id="0" charset=""><html><br> <div>Hello,</div> <br> <div>Johannes Birringer and I are coordinating the "Dance Technology" subgroup of the research being conducted by the International Computer Music Association's "Work Group on Interactive Systems and Instrument Design in Music." We proposed the inclusion of dance technology in this investigation after R. Wechsler presented his work and joined the discussion at the initial meeting of the work group at the Berlin ICMC. We hope that it will help to bring the developments of the dance and music communities closer together.</div> <br> <div>*We need your help.* </div> <br> <div>Each subgroup is responsible to define a body of research which will be posted to the ICMA/EMF website and included in future publications, panel discussions, and reference materials. If you would like your work included, or, if you have created a resource such as a bibliography or web page that could contribute to the project please respond. The following categories may help us organize:</div> <br> <div>Dance and interactive technologies:</div> <div>- practitioners and pieces</div> <div>- articles</div> <div>- books</div> <div>- videos and other media</div> <div>- interactive systems and interfaces</div> <div>- research centers and developments</div> <div>- relevant links </div> <br> <div>I hope that general ideas, suggestions or contributions can be conducted through the Dance-tech list so that we can represent the interests of this community. If you have larger bibliographies or contributions, please send them to me as attachments off-list. </div> <br> <div>We have a deadline of March 19th for our initial bibliography and references to be posted.
