Palindrome developed a system (hardware and sofware) a number of years ago
-- which we sitll use.

it consists of a belt containing small amplifiers and transmitter with
cables for 6 muscle groups.

it outputs midi.  we use it to control stage lighting and sound scores
(divided into 6 channels). 

my partner, who developed the circuitry and software would probably tell
you how he did it if you ask him (frieder weiss frieder@palindrome.de). 

there are not many details about it at our web site -- but you will find
background info there (see below).
