<x-flowed> The University of Lethbridge, Faculty of Fine Arts invites applications for a 3-year term position (convertible to tenure track) at the Assistant professor level to teach multimedia effective July 1, 2001. A PhD, MFA or equivalent terminal degree is required along with a substantial record of professional activity. Industry experience would be an asset. The successful candidate will have a record of excellence in teaching and research/creative work with expertise in number of areas, including, web-based art and design, multimedia production management, and the creation of computer facilitated environments. The program requires thirteen core multimedia courses and three courses from each of the major areas of the Faculty of Fine Arts-art, drama, and music. The program is currently being delivered by a team of two full-time professors plus sessionals and is in its second year of development with a restricted intake of 26 students each year. The Faculty of Fine Arts housed in the Centre for the Arts offers degree programs in Art, Drama, Music, and Multimedia within a liberal education context and is the fastest growing unit in the University.
