<x-flowed>Hello list,
To follow on from my post about the current state of increased
fossilization of the Dance and Technology Zone -- there is also the issue
of folks, some of you, who have in the last year or so asked Mark and I to
update their artist links. It's a simple thing of course to do -- but I'm
sure all of you who are increasingly busy as well can appreciate how
electronic responsibilities become impossible to maintain on consistent
basis [remember when email was fun?]
However, this issue raises a couple of questions we wouldn't mind getting
some feedback on -- firstly, if we are unable to find someone to help or
some funds or something -- then I would be inclined to archive the site in
some way with clear indications that it was 'frozen' at a certain point in
time. So many of the links will continue to be useful and for researchers
interested in the historical there is some good information there. Then it
would join the OSU servers couple of old pages which they have thankfully
left on line.
But this may be jumping the gun -- perhaps someone will come up with a good
suggestion for helping to maintain what we think was, still is to some
extent and could be again a valuable bit of the net.
Regards,
Scott
