DOGMA DANCE - provocative, radical, dogmatic dance on screen.

DOGMA DANCE is a newly established manifesto-based, artist-led organisation
founded as a production forum for dance film makers to 'push the envelope' in
terms of low budget, high concept dance on screen.

DOGMA DANCE intends to offer a challenge dance-film-makers to make their work
within the frame-work of 'artistic and production rules', evolved to
encourage the radical development of the medium and the individual's own
approach to making work.

DOGMA DANCE also plans to enable the making of new work through a network of
resources, potential collaborators and eventually, it is hoped, access to
funds for commissioning new work.

A fundamental part of DOGMA DANCE will be its Web Site - a place where ideas
can be shared, personal articles 'published', information passed on and,
ultimately, work distributed.

We want to share our ideas for what DOGMA DANCE could become and involve
other interested parties from across the globe. In the first instance we
invite those interested to UNDER YOUR SKIN, an free, informal introduction
screening on Sunday 29th October, 6pm @ the Diamond Dance Studio, 6/8 Vestry
St, London, N1 (nr. Old Street Underground).

For further information, or if you want to be kept informed of DOGMA DANCE
developments but can't make it to the screening, then please contact Katrina
McPherson on 07798 563 799 or Litza Bixler on 07801 259 704.
