hi all i've been sitting in on this list for a couple of months and feel now is the time to make myself known - mainly for some advice: i'm a "technologist" who's currently putting together a funding application for money to develop a series of technology in performance works with a dancer over a two year period starting next year - and although I have ideas about the tools I can work with and the way I would like to work, I'm always open to advice - so: 1) have the other people on this list any advice to give re: tools, software, hardware for developing sensitive, reactive, interactive and/or Internet related technology-in-performance works - 2) how can i find people who might be interested in developing simultaneous performance projects via the Net (any recommended technologies for this ?) 3) i'm thinking of including the construction of a web site as part of the funding bid, and, as well as documenting the work made by us, I was thinking that it might be useful to develop a reference resource (read: links page) relating to the technology side of all this - would this be useful ? or is it already being done so well somewhere that I don't need to think about it - Rather than cluttering up the list with mailings that spell out the obvious for some of the readers of this list, perhaps it would be better to mail your responses to me direct ? thanks brian@briang.dabsol.co.uk
