In answer to the first, capturing moving images is not 'motion 
capture'.  Motion Capture tends to refer to any system that attempts 
to follow or interpret or understand the motion of a human body (or 
other moving object).  The result is data, and in some systems, 
particularly differencing systems, that data is visible, and can be 
projected.

Susan Kozel has used this to great effect in previous pieces.  I have 
used it in installation, but I don't think very successfully.
