Re: seeking guidance

hello

I am currently inishing up an MFA @ Ohio State in
choreography and technology. From what I understand,
ours is one of the stronger programs out there, still
it has it's plusses and minuses...

we have tremendous access to really great equipment
and more and more of us are interested in working with
technoloogy - so there is a sense of teamwork and
support. Victoria Uris - long time dance on camera
person - and Johannaus Birringier are both on faculty.
I feel like as this is a realitvely new program that
there are still some kinks being uironed out but
things get better quickly - noticbly from term to
term.
OSU has some strong points of view about things like
composition and while you may be encouraged to 'do
your own thing, it can feel like there is not really
much support - again, things get better as you go into
your third year and are working on your thesis
project.

sooo

i am not really certain what all you wanted to know -
you are welcome to send back to me if you've further
questions.

best
