Hallo I am a musician-musictherapist-educator working from several years with disables, and intending to use motion capture technology and MIDI for therapeutic means. At the moment I am looking for the more suitable solution, and the only things I've been able to find surfing the net are Palindrome's Big Eye- Electrodes, and D.Rokeby's Very Nervous System.I need a system the less intrusive as possible,and with a quick tuning procedure (anyway,I don't need to be very precise). My primary concerns are scanning configurability - i.e. being able to tune the mocap device to gestures and muscolar tensions that might be very far from the range of a medium dancer\performer - output flexibility, budget and portablity. Please send me any suggestion. I would also appreciate very much if you could give me any addictional information or contact concerning therapeutic use of mocap technology and music.
