I have one sit open (released last week) and now made available for my
summer worshop. I will admit any one that is interested on a first come
first serve bases.

Please note,

attendees will be accepted,</bigger></color></underline> on a first
come first serve bases. 


Each member will be provided with individual supervision of a minimum
of four hours daily. Additionally, you will be provided with a top of
the line G4 fully loaded Workstation and with the latest versions of
the software used during the workshop.



Attendees will be introduced and learn how to use the following
programs and software applications

Firewire - G4 work station (video input and video output)

Final Cut Pro 1.2 Editing software, Video captures, video editing, and
video output

Quick Time 

Flash 2D and virtual 3D

Painter 5.0

PhotoShop 5.5

Poser 4.0

Life forms 3.5

</bold></bigger>The bulk of the workshop will be devoted to providing
attendees with hands-on hard-core experience, taking you through a
step-by-step process, assuring a high level of understanding of all
technological complexities and issues related to the creation of 
technologically mediate worlds, environments, 3D renderings and
computerized character animations. 


It is essential that attendees learn, think, and understand the basic
principles of and how to conceive interactivity in performance.

How to create a computerized theatrical framework, conceives and
creates a 3D-performance world/environment. 


Explore concepts of Virtual reality and Cyberspace 


Attendees will learn and be introduced to:

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Notions and concepts of
interactive technologies. 

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Electronic dance
surfaces 

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Very nerves system 

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Various sensory
elements and their potential use, making customized interactive
elements of your choice.  

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Notions of 3D rendering
processes and texture mapping techniques as effective companions to
material created on the computer with various applications and
programs.

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Fire-Wire, and the
exploration of methods that will facilitate video captures, video
editing, and output to video projections. 

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Final cut editing
software

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>Create a computerized
environment that will facilitate interaction between several
applications in order to create a 3D world. The world will include both
CyberHumans as well as theatrical cyber-props.

<fontfamily><param>Symbol</param>… </fontfamily>How to create and
combine Flash 4.0 images, Life Forms 3.5, Poser 4.0, Painter 5.0 and
PhotoShop 5.5 Images and dynamically transport them to Quick Time
Movies 


<bold><bigger>Conclusion:

 

</bigger></bold>At the conclusion of the three-week workshop,
participants will demonstrate a greater understanding of issues
directly related to the creation of a totally mounted computerized (or
virtual) performance environment. In addition participants will acquire
the technological tools that will enable them to think of the computer
as a performance environment, as an interactive world, and or you
personal Theatre.

committed individuals that are seriously interested in the intense
learning of the technology should apply. This is not a workshop about
our incredible most precious physical body. It is totally about the
learning how to create the virtual, the animated, the 3d world, and
technologically mediated, interactive automated body.
