Dance/Technology Workshops?

Dear List Members,

I am a contemporary dance artist based in New Zealand. I'm planning a trip
overseas, to the States and parts of Nthn Europe in July 2000 (starting in
the States). I'd love to know of any workshops relating to dance and
technology, with particular interest in triggering, and/or animation.

I have a background in visual design, and then trained in contemporary
dance. I am competant in generating design work on a computer (I'm Mac
based), but haven't done much moving image work yet. I have explored using
a simple trigger set up in performance, and the integration of slide images
(still image) with dance, and video and dance (collaborating with a video
artist). This year, I will be teaching Related Arts to the third year
students at the contemporary dance degree program at UNITEC Institute of
Technology in Auckland, New Zealand.

If anyone knows of any workshops (July or later) that may be interesting,
could you reply?? The example below looks particularly interesting to me,
but as I am unsure of dates and cost yet, I am still looking for other
options.

Thanks,

Becca Wood
